Readings For Macro
Macro Students,
Greetings,
Below are readings which I found pretty interesting and relate very much to our discussions in our recent classes.
Paul Krugman's piece on inflation as a necessity to spur growth in the US economy.
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/06/opinion/krugman-not-enough-inflation.html
Here is another piece on austerity- tightening the economy he wrote late March. It relates very much to our current topic on fiscal policy.
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/22/opinion/pushing-back-against-austerity.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=Pushing%20back%20against%20austerity&st=cse
The readings are very important for your understanding in what we are talking about.. please endeavor to read them...
